Forwarding steps and dial codes verified live on help.nextiva.com. The two porting-out source pages now 301-redirect to help.nextiva.com’s Customer Hub, whose current porting article only covers porting IN; the port-out content was read from Wayback Machine snapshots dated 2025-03-21 and 2025-11-09 of the same official nextiva.com URLs, so it may reflect a since-reorganized (not necessarily changed) page. Checked 2026-09-11.

Good to know
- Call Forward Always only forwards calls dialed directly to that user’s line — it does not forward calls distributed from a call center or call group.
Move your number
Start the move from Dashboard, then Phone numbers, then Add a number, and choose Move my number. Upload your latest bill and we read the details for you. Have these ready:Watch out for
- Some Nextiva numbers are registered under Nextiva’s own name/address with its underlying hosted carrier rather than the customer’s — email porting@nextiva.com (or submit a case) with the numbers so Nextiva can send the correct Customer Service Record data before you fill out the new provider’s LOA.
- Nextiva does not cancel your account automatically when numbers port out; submit a separate cancellation request after the transfer completes.
- Nextiva’s official page does not describe a customer-facing port-out PIN — only CSR plus LOA-to-new-provider is documented; treat PIN support as unverified rather than assuming none exists.
- Unauthorized ports (“slams”) must be reported to Nextiva’s porting team within 24 hours, and no later than 30 days after the fact, or the standard slam-recovery process no longer applies.
