Setup Steps

Get Your AMP API Credentials

Log into your AMP Dashboard → Settings → API. Copy your Tenant ID and generate an API Key.

Add Integration in Answering Agent

Go to Answering Agent Dashboard → Integrations → Add Integration → AMP.

Enter Required Fields

Enter your Tenant ID and API Key.

Test Connection

Click “Test Connection” to verify access.

Enable Integration

Common Issues & Fixes

Cause: Wrong Tenant ID or API KeyFix:
  1. Use Tenant ID (not email or username)
  2. Generate fresh API Key in AMP
  3. Ensure production key (not sandbox)
Cause: No active subscriptionFix: Verify customer has active subscription in AMP. Expired/cancelled subs don’t return vehicles.
Cause: No active offer in AMPFix: Check AMP dashboard for active retention offers. AI only presents if offers exist.

Test Checklist

  • Connection test passes
  • Test call shows customer name and vehicle
  • AI finds subscription details
  • AI checks for retention offers before cancelling
